The Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce has announced two more award winners leading up to its 123rd annual meeting later this month.
IM Design Group is the Business of the Year, an announcement that surprised and humbled partner Shawn Honea.
In addition, the Chamber has chosen Matt Johnson of Keller Williams Realty Diamond Partners as its Volunteer of the Year. Johnson is continuing his role as chair of the Chamber Ambassadors. He has also helped with several ribbon-cutting ceremonies and Business After Hours events along with the annual Christmas Parade.
These announcements follow Don Hill being honored with the Chamber’s Lifetime Achievement Award during KVOE’s On-Air Chat last week.
The Chamber’s Committee of the Year will be announced at a later time.
The annual meeting is Jan. 24 at the Emporia State Memorial Union Webb Hall.
