For the 2nd week in a row and third time this season Emporia State freshman guard Tre’Zure Jobe has been named the MIAA player of the week.
Jobe scored 26 points in a win over Northwest Missouri State and 22 points in a win over Missouri Western. She is averaging 17 points per-game and has moved into the top 10 for freshmen scoring and needs 12 points to tie Kelly Moten for number 9.
According to NCAA stats the Emporia State womens basketball team has played the toughest schedule in the nation to this point. They have gone 12-2 despite being the only NCAADII
school who’s opponents to date have a combined winning percentage of over .700.
That Challenging schedule continues Wednesday at Fort Hays State and Saturday at Nebraska Kearney.
