The Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the first Legislative Dialogue of the year as organized by the Chamber’s Government Matters Committee and the League of Women Voters.
The Dialogue will be Feb. 8 at Emporia Presbyterian Manor. Coffee and pastries will be served at 8 am with the formal discussion beginning at 8:30 am.
Senate Vice President Jeff Longbine, 60th District Representative Mark Schreiber, 76th District representative Eric Smith and 51st District Representative Ron Highland have all been invited.
Residents are encouraged to attend and ask questions.
