An injury crash happened outside Emporia’s Fire Station 2 on Wednesday.
A minivan and car collided at 15th and Industrial around 7 pm. At least one of the two vehicles then hit a traffic signal cabinet near the southwest corner of the intersection, causing heavy damage.
One person was taken to Newman Regional Health for treatment afterward. Further details are pending through Emporia Police.
