Light snow from Thursday night and early Friday morning ended well before sunrise, but travel is slow going despite the minimal accumulations.
Local street crews went out shortly after midnight. There are still a lot of icy patches on major arterial and residential collector streets. Side streets are snow-covered.
Here at the KVOE studios, we received 0.20 inches of snowfall. there won’t be a lot of melting Friday with temperatures barely getting above freezing, but the snow likely won’t stick around through the weekend as Saturday’s high temperatures climb to the low 40s and Sunday’s highs reach the upper 40s.
We’ll keep you updated on KVOE and KVOE.com.
