A planned closing of Kansas Highway 170 west of Reading has been delayed.
Originally, K-170 was supposed to close Saturday night and early Sunday at Road W, about three miles west of Reading. That closure has been delayed to Tuesday night into early Wednesday.
Intermittent closures have taken place at the intersection the past two months as heavy equipment is positioned for the over 20,000-acre Reading Wind Facility. At last word, nearly a third of the planned 62 turbines have been erected.
