The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is a Platinum Award winner through AAA Kansas.
AAA has presented the awards every year since 2011 to recognize law enforcement agencies that improve local traffic safety. Agencies are ranked in several categories including education, emergency response, enforcement and engineering.
This marks the seventh straight year the Sheriff’s Office has received a Platinum Award. A formal presentation will be scheduled during an upcoming Lyon County Commission meeting.
