The Flint Hills Technical College Inspiring Wranglers campaign has reached 90 percent of its funding goal.
The $2.4 million campaign is raising funds to renovate the Hospitality and Culinary Arts program. These renovations, including new baking, kitchen, and classroom space, will help aid the program to become accredited by the American Culinary Federation and allow students to achieve “Chef Status” upon completion of their associates degrees.
With around $2 million now either donated or pledged, Vice President of Advancement Mike Crouch says the campaign is currently finalizing design plans and has the intention of starting construction later in 2020.
