Light snow could slow things down a bit Wednesday across the KVOE listening area.
TV-13 meteorologist Doug Meyers says snow will be light but persistent for much of the day.
Meyers says travel could be affected, especially during times of moderate snowfall. People traveling to Kansas City for the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade can expect some travel slowdowns.
Winter weather advisories continue for most of the area until midnight. Morris and Wabaunsee counties have been dropped from the advisory.
Meyers says patchy frost and fog could develop early Thursday morning as temperatures drop to the mid-teens, but travel hazards should be limited to the morning hours as high temperatures climb to the mid-30s.
