The Emporia State softball team opens their season at the Mankato Dome Tournament in Mankato, Minnesota Friday.

The Lady Hornets will play Concordia St. Paul and Minnesota State – Mankato Friday and Saturday and Lewis on Sunday.
Concordia St. Paul out scored the Lady Hornets 6-4 in 8 innings.
Emporia State scored 4 runs in the first inning on 3 singles and sacrifice fly. Concordia scored 2 runs in the 4th inning, 6th inning and 8th inning. Hannah Steeby was 2 for 3 with a run scored and RBI for the Lady Hornets.
