Lyon County deputies say one person was stabbed in southeast Emporia late Saturday night.
Deputy Nathan Rankin says law enforcement responded to Newman Regional Health around 11 pm after a reported stabbing. The victim suffered apparently non-life-threatening injuries.
Rankin says an investigation has determined the victim was stabbed during a fight in the 1200 block of East Logan. The tentative timeframe for that incident has not been released. The suspect is currently unknown and all other details are currently pending.
This comes after a stabbing incident early Saturday morning at a currently unspecified address in east Emporia. One person was taken to Newman Regional Health afterward with apparently non-life-threatening injuries. Other details are pending in this case as well. Emporia Police are investigating this incident.
