The Emporia State softball team was 1 and 1 on day two of the Makato Dome Classic Saturday.
The Lady Hornets defeated Concordia St. Paul 5-2. Emporia State scored 4 runs in the 1st inning and added a solo home run by Hannah Steeby in the 7th inning.
The Emporia State softball team was out scored by Minnesota State – Mankato 12-7. Minnesota State scored 9 runs in the first inning and never gave up the lead.
The Emporia State softball team closes out the Dome Classic Sunday against Lewis.
