The Emporia State womens and mens basketball teams are on the road Thursday. They will be playing at Rogers State in Claremore, Oklahoma.
The Lady Hornets have struggled on the road. All 3 of their losses in MIAA play have happened on the road. Junior Fredricka Sheats says they need to stay focused to the game plan.
The Emporia State men will try to get back on the winning track. Freshman Mason Thiessen has faced several of the leagues best post players and says that has been a valuable learning experience. In Thursdays game he will face another good post player.
Game times are 5:30 for the women and 7:30 for the men.
