The Emporia State women led wire to wire in a 107-45 win over Rogers State Thursday night.
Tre’Zure Jobe scored a career high 33 points to lead the Lady Hornets to their 18th win of the season.
Mollie Mounsey added 19 points and Kali Martin finished with 14 points. The Lady Hornets turned a 9 point 1st quarter lead into a 57-18 lead by halftime.
Their biggest lead in the 2nd half was by 64 points.
Rogers State won the mens game 82-56. The Hornets led early in the contest by 3 but the Hillcats would build a 16 point lead and never trailed the rest of the game.
Emporia State Coach Craig Doty said they played well for 20 minutes.
Zac Owens was the lone Hornet to score in double-figures with 18 points. Gage McGuire had his 2nd double figure rebounding effort finishing with 11.
The Emporia State women and men play at Northeastern State on Saturday with game times at 1:30 for the women and 3:30 for the men.
