The Emporia High girls wrestling team will be sending 3 wrestlers to state after Saturdays regional tournament.
Trinity Ervin finished in 2nd place at 191 pounds. Gloria Peroza at 143 pounds and Megan Olson at 235 pounds finished in 5th place all qualifying for the girls state wrestling tournament.
As a team the Emporia High girls finished in 4th place just 1 team point behind McPherson. Great Bend finished in 1st place and Garden City finished in 2nd place.
The Girls State Wrestling tournament will be held February 27th in Salina.
