Emporia’s Altrusa Club is bringing Vegas to Emporia in March all for a great cause.
Residents are encouraged to attend the club’s annual Casino Night taking place on March 7th at 6:30 pm inside the American Legion. The evening will include food, drinks, classic casino games and both a live and silent auction.
Casino Night Co-Chair Jean Tidwell says the auctions will include an assortment of prizes and packages from local businesses as well as two special items every Chiefs fan will want to get their hands on.
Tickets for the casino night can be purchased in advance from Altrusa Club members or at the door. The price of tickets is $20 and includes the cost of your meal and provides you with $10,000 in playing money that can also be used to bid on live auction items.
