Plans have changed for auctioning the former Brickyard 20 Ale House location.
As late as Tuesday afternoon, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office website listed the property at 402 Merchant as up for a foreclosure auction. The event was canceled, according to Sheriff Jeff Cope, at the request of Lyon County State Bank, which has been handling arrangements.
LCSB Vice President Denise Larrick says paperwork is being amended in connection to Small Business Administration guidelines. Once that is completed, the auction will likely be rescheduled.
MBPH LLC is listed as the primary owner through Lyon County records. The Sheriff’s Office lists the debt at over $680,000.
Brickyard 20 operated from 2015 through part of 2018, becoming a hub of different local activities before it closed. The address also served as other eating establishments in the last 20 years, including Fourth Avenue Dining Company.
