(MIAA) Emporia States Taysean Goodwin has been named the MIAA mens Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Goodwin claimed his second athlete of the week honor this season as he officially punched his ticket to the NCAA Indoor Championships with two automatic qualifying times and two school records at the Gorilla Classic. He ran a 46.65 to win the 400-meter dash and anchored the 4x400m relay team to an automatic qualifier in a time of 3:11.62. The relay team is currently ranked third in the nation this season. He also had provisional qualifying time in the 60-meter dash.
