Emporia High will be sending 4 wrestlers to State.
Xerarch Tungjaroenkul at 132 pounds finished in 2nd place at the West regional tournament. Lucas Hainline finished in third place at 113 pound. Ethan Garate finished in 6th place at 170 pounds and Whitney Hall finished in 8th place at 220 pounds.
As a team Emporia High finished in 11th place. Goddard was the West regional champion. The 5A State wrestling tournament will be held Friday and Saturday at Hartman Arena in Park City.
