The Emporia State baseball team out scored Augustana 7-3 Sunday to earn a split of the 4 game series with 17th ranked Augustana.
The Hornets took a 4-0 lead in the 1st inning. Brady Michel drove in 2 of the runs with a double. Michel added a solo home run in the 8th inning.
Ryan Krolikowski drove in 2 runs with a single in the 3rd inning. With the win the Hornets are now 8-6 for the season. They are scheduled to play Southwestern Oklahoma State Tuesday in Enid, Oklahoma.
