The Olpe Eagles dominated Hartford in the first round of the Waverly regional Monday evening with a 70-15 victory.
Olpe would establish an early lead in the first quarter they would never relinquish thanks to a six minute 18-0 run. Olpe would close out the first half leading 40-12.
In the second half, the Eagles gave up just three points to Hartford as they punched their ticket to the regional semi-finals on Thursday. Olpe will now face Lebo for the third time this year.
Olpe Head Coach Chris Schmidt hopes the third time will be the charm against the Wolves.
Every player on the Olpe bench scored in the game and were led by sophomore Derek Hoelting with 14. Hartford was led in scoring by sophomore Shayden Sull with 7 points.
