4 members of the Emporia High boys wrestling team will be competing at the 5A State tournament beginning Friday.
Freshman Xerarch Tungjaroenkul is ranked number 2 at 132 pounds.
Freshman Lukas Hainline will be wrestling at 113 pounds.
Junior Ethan Garate at 170 pounds is making a return trip to state.
Senior Whitney Hall at 220 pounds is making his 3rd trip to State.
The 5A State wrestling tournament will be held at Hartman Arena north of Wichita.
All of the Emporia High matches will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
13 Area Athletes will be competing at the 3-2-1A tournament at Hays.
