The Emporia State softball team closed out play in the Washburn Classic with 2 wins Sunday.
The Lady Hornets defeated Minnesota Crookston 7-4.
They out scored Southwest Minnesota State 5-4. They finished the tournament with a 4-2 record.
The Lady Hornets will open MIAA play Friday when they host Pittsburg State.
