5 members of the Emporia State track and field team have been named all region by the United States Track and field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Taysean Goodwin for the 60 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 400 meter dash and 4×400 relay. Brandon Rhone, Hayden Goodpaster and Guy Ramos for the 4 by 400 relay.
And Jazmin Williams for the long jump.
Up next will be the National Indoor Track and Field Championship to be held March 13th and 14th in Birmingham, Alabama.
Taysean Goodwin has qualified automatically for the 200 and 400 meter dashes and as part of the 4 by 400 relay with Brandon Rhone, Guy Ramos and Hayden Goodpaster.
The rest of qualifiers will be announced Tuesday.
