If you haven’t taken part in Ignite Emporia’s housing study for Emporia and Lyon County, Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Jeanine McKenna wants your input.
McKenna joined KVOE’s Morning Show on Tuesday to update the process after a raft of public input meetings across the county last month.
The survey is currently online at the Chamber’s website, www.emporiakschamber.org.
Availability, both overall and for different price ranges, came up as a major concern in Emporia during the public meetings. The combination of availability and access to builders was listed as an issue in Lyon County’s smaller communities.
RDG, Ignite Emporia’s partner on the study, will return by early summer with its results and potential action steps to help Emporia and nearby Lyon County communities meet their respective needs. Click here for the link to Ignite Emporia’s Lyon County housing market study.
