Less than a month after announcing a letter of intent to sell assets, BLI Rentals LLC has announced a partnership with a South Carolina company.
BLI is “joining forces” with RTO National of Greenville, South Carolina. A short news release says both companies “have been leaders and respected competitors” in the storage building lease-purchase industry, and the companies share common values of service, integrity and innovation. BLI currently provides rent-to-own services for businesses selling outdoor products like sheds, gazebos, swing sets, outdoor furniture and other outdoor structures.
BLI currently has 60 employees. Word on their futures with the new company has not been announced.
BLI had started a 90-day due diligence period shortly before announcing the letter of intent on its assets Feb. 19. Management has not commented on what the structure of the combined company will be, but the transaction should be completed within the next 45 days.
