Emporia States Jared Kengott has been named the MIAAs pitcher of the week.
The junior tossed 7 shutout innings, allowing four hits with seven strikeouts as Emporia State shut out Missouri Southern 12-0 in eight innings on Saturday. The Hornets will play host to Northwest Missouri this weekend in a three game series starting on Friday.
