Lions Club served up their locally famous biscuits and gravy for their annual fundraiser.
Co-Chair of the event Sally Conard spoke with KVOE about how the funds will be used to benefit the community.
By the end of the event 1200 biscuits, 20 gallons of milk, and over 200 pounds of sausage were served. With over 500 patrons leaving with full stomachs and smiling faces.
Lions Club of Emporia will continue to raise funds throughout the year. The next event they will be helping with is the Senior Prom on the Emporia State campus in April.
Fundraising totals are still pending.
