How best to marry several different education goals and objectives is a discussion point well underway for USD 252 Southern Lyon County.
Superintendent Mike Argabright says the overall talking point is how best to support students at a time when the district is charting its road map in several ways.
The district board will continue discussions through the spring with a goal of approving the latest version of its strategic plan in June.
Meanwhile, the district celebrated its run of Hopkins Project Award announcements Friday. Argabright says the award program helps teachers meet the needs of their students in ways that may not get funded under other circumstances.
Nine teachers received awards, with projects ranging from anatomy and physiology projects to author development to percussion ensemble needs and traditional pinatas.
