A wreck south of Neosho Rapids led to injuries for the driver of a vehicle Saturday morning.
Lyon County Deputy Chuck Moore says 33-year-old Robert Burton, hometown not listed, was northbound on Kansas Highway 130 when his car left the highway and overturned near the junction of Lyon County Road Z and Coffey County 22nd Terrace around 8:15 am. Burton, who was wearing a seatbelt when the crash happened, was taken to Newman Regional Health afterward with non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies have not specified how the crash developed.
The crash happened about eight hours after an injury crash at US Highway 50 and Graphic Arts Road that sent one person to Newman Regional Health. Further details about that wreck are forthcoming through Emporia Police.

Two people were taken to Newman Regional Health after separate crashes in Lyon County on Saturday.
The first happened right around midnight on Emporia’s west edge. One vehicle crashed near the intersection of US Highway 50 and Graphic Arts Road. The driver and only person inside was taken to Newman Regional Health afterward. All other details are pending through Emporia Police.
Separately, one person was taken to Newman Regional Health after a rollover crash on Kansas Highway 130 just south of the junction of Lyon County’s Road Z and Coffey County’s 22nd Terrace, about two miles south of Neosho Rapids, shortly after 8 am. Details are pending through the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
