The Kansas State High School Activities Association has announced that effective today Monday, March 16, all spring sports and activities are suspended through Sunday, March 22.
This includes cancellation of all practices and competitions for this week. This prohibition is consistent with Kansas State Department of Education and governmental guidance and may be extended, should conditions warrant.
Please note spring sports team members are prohibited from club or outside team participation and practice during this period.
Emporia High does not have any scheduled competitions for this week.
The first spring sports event scheduled is a girls diving meet next Tuesday March 24th.
On March 26th the Track and Field teams are scheduled to compete at the Topeka West Invitational.
The Girls swim team is scheduled to host a meet.
The Girls soccer team is scheduled to play at Wichita North.
And Softball is scheduled to play at Wamego.
