Kansas Governor Laura Kelly has announced Tuesday that all schools K thru 12 will be closed for the remainder of the school Year. At this time the Kansas State High School Activities Association has not officially cancelled the remainder of the Spring Sports Season.
Emporia High football Coach Corby Milleson In a tweet Tuesday said:
“I’m going to practice what I preach.”
“I’m going to let it hurt until midnight.”
“Tomorrow, I’m going to wait for the district recommendation, then attack the remainder of the school year (whatever that may look like)with RELENTLESS ENTHUSIASM.”
Coach Milleson wants to set an example for the students.
The High School activities association on Wednesday did suspended all spring sports and activities thru the end of the school year.
