The Granada Theatre announced it’s now closed until May 16. With that comes the cancellation or postponements of over a dozen activities, but board member Sonia Hodges says the focus has been on rescheduling.
The Eli Young Band concert is now Aug. 7. The Ashley Barron concert has been postponed until further notice.

Bobby D’s is among the restaurants adjusting its hours and emphasizing carryout or curbside service, while J’s Carryout has closed indoor dining and is telling customers to call ahead or use the drive-thru window. Also, national brands with a local presence are adjusting. Walmart is shortening its hours for the second time in a week, while several stores inside Flinthills Mall are currently closed.
Events continue to be canceled or postponed, including activities in the near term like the Flint Hills Optimist All-Star Basketball classic and those down the road like Keep It a Safe Summer on May 20. KISS organizer and spokesman John Koelsch says it was best to pull the plug now.
