6 Emporia State basketball players have been honored by the MIAA for their work in the classroom. They have been named to the MIAA Academic honor roll.
To be eligible for MIAA Academic honors one must have a 3.0 gpa or better and have 2 terms of attendance.
Morgan Lauden has received the highest possible honor – The Academic Excellence award. She has a 4.0 gpa as a Health and Human performance major.
Also receiving academic honors are:
Kali Martin, Daley Handy, Jessica Wayne and Tre’Zure Jobe.
From the mens team Aaron McGee is also on the academic honor roll.
Those with less then 2 terms of attendance will be recognized at the end of the school year.
