Students in Emporia schools are learning when they can pick up items from their respective schools so they can handle assignments once school resumes next week.
District schools began announcing arrangements Sunday night:
*Emporia High School: Tuesday from 7 am to 5 pm. Parents need to use the bus loop on the north side of the school
*Emporia Middle School: Tuesday from 6:30 am to 8 pm. Sixth grade picks up in the back of the school, seventh grade either front or back and eighth grade in the back.
*All elementary schools, aside from Logan Avenue, on Tuesday from 6:30 am to 8:30 pm. Logan Avenue hours are 6 am to 7:30 pm. Pickup procedures will vary with each school
Students will not be allowed in district schools for item pickup.
