Possibilities of severe weather are in the forecast for Thursday and Friday nights.
Lyon and all surrounding counties are now in a slight severe weather risk, mainly for large hail and high wind. Overall storm chances are best after midnight.
A repeat is possible late Friday night. The entire KVOE listening area is currently in a slight risk for stronger storms. All hazards are currently possible, but the main concerns are large hail and damaging wind.
Temperatures will be in the 70s to close out the work week and 60s for the upcoming weekend. More rain chances develop by Monday afternoon.
