The Kansas Department of Transportation has postponed its deadline to submit project applications for the Cost Share program to May 18.
The Cost Share program was created to help provide financial assistance to programs that promote economic development, and job growth and retention. Some examples being construction projects for improved safety, or projects that help improve transportation in rural or urban areas.
The program requires a non-state match of at least 15% of total funds, and gives additional considerations to projects that provide higher than the 15% minimum.
