The number of COVID-19 positive cases is up to 12 in Lyon County with two probable positive tests. That’s according to the Lyon County Public Health up-date for Tuesday.
A Probable Positive is a household member of a confirmed COVID-19 case that becomes symptomatic. That person does not need to be tested if their symptoms are considered mild and can be cared for at home. Normal case investigation and isolation protocol will be put into place.
Studies show that 48 hours prior to you showing signs of being symptomatic with COVID-19, you can pass along the disease to others.
The positive and probable positives include 6 males and 8 females and range in the age of 11-80.
The count for Kansas as of 10am Tuesday was at 428 positive tests. There have been 9 deaths in Kansas. There have also been 4,996 negative tests.
