Osage County is making more adjustments in light of COVID-19.
The county has closed its courthouse to the public and is limiting phone access or special appointments to 8 am to 1 pm. The Noxious Weed Department will be open by appointment only for chemical sales from 8 am to 1 pm. The recycling center will be closed, but the transfer station and landfill will have regular operating hours. In addition, Osage County commissioners will keep their normal meeting schedule but the board will take necessary precautions to allow for social distancing.
Anybody entering the courthouse will need to pass a verbal screen and have a temperature check.
The Osage County Health Department has been issuing news releases with confirmed cases. It will now announce that information on its Facebook page.
