A special series of webinars on COVID-19’s impact on agriculture continues Thursday night.
The series, “Economics of Agriculture During the COVID-19 Pandemic,” will focus on the impacts coronavirus is having on grain and planting intentions. This comes as the spring planting season is just about ready to get started, according to Lyon County Extension agent Brian Rees.
Folks interested in participating need to go online to www.agmanager.info for free registration. If you want to register, you can do so now — both for the Thursday session and the April 9 session dealing with livestock markets. Registration for the April 15 session on land values will start April 9.
The webinars will also be posted online at www.agmanager.info after they are completed, including the session last week on the ag macroeconomy.
