Coffey County has added to its COVID-19 tally.
Coffey County Health Department has announced two new cases, a 40-year-old woman and an 86-year-old woman. This puts the county total at 18.
The Health Department is not confirming whether the new cases are associated with Life Care Center of Burlington, which now has 26 confirmed cases involving both residents and staff. The Health Department says some workers live outside Coffey County, so they are counted in their home counties.
