A small fire occurred in an Emporia home Thursday.
Firefighters were called to 1123 Oxford shortly after 5 pm. Battalion Chief Tony Fuller says some lint caught fire in a dryer vent. The fire was contained in that area, causing some smoke in the rest of the house.
A cause has not been listed. No injuries were reported.
