Winter weather remains a possibility for two area counties through mid-morning Friday.
An advisory for Chase County, originally set to expire at 8 am Friday morning, has been extended until 10 am. Meanwhile, Morris County remains in a separate advisory also set to expire at 10 am Friday.
Freezing rain and high winds are the main concerns. the National Weather Service anticipates a thin glaze of ice could occur in Chas County while Morris could see up to a tenth of an inch of ice accumulation.
Travel conditions could be slick, especially on elevated surfaces, for the early morning commute. Drivers are asked to exercise caution.
