The Lyon County Disaster Relief Fund is responding to the latest request for equipment from Newman Regional Health — this one involving clothing.
Hospital administrators say people with pending test results or who have COVID-19 should go home in different clothes than the ones they used when they came to the hospital. The fund, with help from The Sports Connection and KVOE, has sent one round of clothing to the hospital. People can still donate sewn masks and mask covers to the Emporia Main Street office for use at Newman Regional Health.

The Lyon County Disaster Relief Fund is a partnership between Main Street, KVOE and the Emporia Community Foundation.
