As cases continue to increase in Coffey County so too does the number of recoveries.
In its daily update Tuesday, the Coffey County Health Department announced three new positive cases had been identified. The new cases include a 33 yr. female, 79 yr. female and a 90 yr. male bringing the county total to 35.
Also noted in the report was the recovery of three individuals connected to the outbreak from Life Care Center in Burlington. The individuals include one resident from Coffey County, one resident from Greenwood County and one resident from Woodson County.
As of Monday, a total of 41 coronavirus cases had been connected to Life Care Center.
