Emporia High Senior Skyler Douglas has announced via twitter he will be joining the Emporia State mens basketball team as a student assistant coach.
Skyler says this is a chance to stay close to the game.
Skyler says coaching is not career choice for now, but this was a good opportunity that Emporia State Coach Craig Doty was offering.
Skyler was a Centennial League Honorable mention after this past basketball season.
