USD 253 Emporia has set ending dates for classes in different grades.
The official final day for students is May 19 at 11:30 am with a couple exceptions. Preschool students will close out the school year May 18. The final day for seniors had already been announced for May 12.
Grab-and-go lunches will be served through May 19.
For staff, certified staff will close out the school year May 20. Nine-month classified will end — for the most part — May 19 at 11:30 am, but some exceptions may apply.
