The Lyon County History Center is asking for your help to document history in the making.
The COVID-19 pandemic may not be the first pandemic the world has faced, but it is unique in the way it has been handled, and so the History Center is asking locals to submit their firsthand experience in dealing with COVID-19.
History Center Director Greg Jordan says that previous pandemics have only been historically recorded with newspaper clippings or other documents, but there haven’t been recorded statements from individuals.
Jordan says the History Center hopes to use these first-person accounts to create a new display about COVID-19.
