Schedule adjustments continue with the coronavirus pandemic continuing.
Radius Brewing and the Sweet Granada are among the latest food-related businesses to halt operations until further notice. Radius is suspending food service until it can reopen its dining room. Sweet Granada closed its back-of-shop operations last week, ending orders for curbside, delivery and shipments in the process.
Separately, it was announced K-State Research and Extension was suspending all face-to-face programs, meetings and events through July 4 — meaning Extension programs across the KVOE listening area would follow suit. Lyon County Extension agent Brian Rees says this is the right call.
Lyon County Extension had made the decision early on to end all face-to-face discussions, meetings and activities. Since that decision, agents have been doing some video work for the department’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
