If you see a door-to-door salesman around town, that’s not supposed to be happening.
Emporia Police has been made aware of a group of people going door-to-door allegedly selling cleaning products. There are three African American men, including one about 5-foot-9 with a significant overbite, and an African American woman allegedly involved. They are driving a white mid-2000s model SUV.
Police are stressing door-to-door sales activity is not allowed as the statewide stay-home order now continues through May 3. If you see any door-to-door activity, call Police at 343-4200.
